Design exchange magazine: editor in chief
Since 2008, I have served as Editor-in-Chief of Design Exchange magazine, a quarterly review of the latest in architecture, interiors, art and, increasingly, their intersection with technology. Our latest issue features an Augmented Reality cover (AR), helping our printers to win Magazine Printer of the Year Award 2016 at the Irish Print Awards.
When I took on the role of Editor-in-Chief, the magazine was named MySpace Design. One of my first tasks was to re-brand the magazine and expand its coverage from the UK to worldwide.
While I used to be very hands-on, drafting much of the content myself, since 2012 I have stepped back as part of a conscious effort at work-life balance and played an advisory role to our very capable team of writers, designers and creators.
